Statistics updated - 10 Million visitors Milestone done
While the recession starts to show signs for the better time, I am delighted to update TubeNet statistics: 10 Million visitors overall milestone was made done during December 2009. From few hundreds of monthly visitors on starting year 1996 to over 200.000 today. 14 years ago - how the time runs! Take a closer look.
Anyhow, it's been few months from the last update and it was not a really big surprise to notice how the visitors are slowly returning back after the deep drop that took place one year ago when Financial crisis hit the worldwide economy.
The drop was very deep and it is expected that better times will take to arrive. The good thing is that many signs have turned from negative to positive. Now you can see more and more optimistic news unlike an year ago when the media was hitting only bad news.
Recently one of those optimistic news came from the USA where FED made a record year. The Fed will return about $45 billion to the U.S. Treasury for 2009, according to calculations based on public documents. That reflects the highest earnings in the 96-year history of the central bank. The Fed, unlike most government agencies, funds itself from its own operations and returns its profits to the Treasury.
Therefore, it will be interesting year ahead for Tube and Pipe Industries also.
Cheers my friends
Juha
